This position would be based in our Madison, WI office. As a Structural Engineer Design Lead, you would be responsible for the design and/or management of structural engineering and design projects for public infrastructure projects. Responsibilities: Prepare structural design calculations and perform analyses on projects of varying complexity using hand calculations, analysis software, and other accepted methods. Prepare plans and specifications for construction projects that comply with applicable codes and regulations. Perform construction administration with periodic field inspections. Assisting with generating required engineering reports, performing quantity estimates, detailing, and drafting. Bridge inspections and load ratings with some travel possible. Ensure SRF\'s quality procedures are maintained for all work. Additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Minimum of a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a similar degree from an accredited school with and emphasis in structural engineering. Master\'s degree is a plus. Licensed Professional Engineer or with the ability to obtain MN and WI licensure within 6 months. 4 or more years of Structural Engineering experience in bridge design preferred.
