Description Finance/Athletic Secretary at Maize South High School

A Day In The Life of a Finance/Athletic Secretary

Maintains accounts for district, building, athletics and activities.

Prepares for athletic events by preparing petty cash and orderingneeded food and

supplies.

Works with staff to prepare, order and pay for supplies.

Prepare reports for building and district budgets.

Gathers and organizes data to ensure compliance mandates are met.

Assist as needed with general office duties such as answering phones, greeting visitors,

checking in volunteers, responding to emails, and supporting substitutes

Collects money from students for fees, lost or damaged items and provides refunds to

families as needed.

Perform other duties to ensure efficient and effective functioning of the office and

building.

This position works 40 hours during the school year.

Description of a Great Candidate

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience with budgets and finance preferred.

Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Strong computer skills.

Amazing customer service.

Can pass a background check and TB test.
