Summary of Role:This position is for Senior Engineer Design Enablement in Design Rule Development department. We are looking for a motivated candidate to work on the development and enhancement of technology nodes ranging from 180nm to advanced 12nm including FinFET, FD-SOI and photonic technologies, within a dynamic team of semiconductor development experts. This position involves activities associated with the development of energy efficient, ultra-low power and ultra-low leakage technologies for emerging products in IoT, Mobile, and RF/5G applications. Essential Responsibilities:Typically performs one or more of the following in capacity of individual contributor (or as directed and/or independently):

• You will work closely with FAB Technology Development teams to understand and align technology requirements, process assumptions, and design rules to provide a unified technology definition. •You will define technology and electrical design rules.•You will work with simulation and calculation tools for variation analysis to determine design rule values and margins. •You will be working on multiple technology nodes and must have detailed understanding of both planar and 3-D devices. •Job role is to develop and provide design manual technology specifications for internal teams and external customers.•Design manual engineering (DME) develop and publish design manual specifications for the customers, outlining design rules what can be drown or not on the customer IP. •Enable PDK package which goes to the customers through design manual development. •Requires DM publish, design rule development, Boolean end, and ground rule validation skills•Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs •Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Requires a technical (University) degree. (Exceptions approved by local HR).o BS + 2-4 years of experience oro MS + 1-3 yearo PhD + 0-1 year

•Familiarity with the semiconductor chip design flow is expected.•We are looking for candidates proficient in some aspects of the DRD technical discipline: layout analysis or semi-conductor / solid state physics. Knowledge of CMOS technologies is a plus. •Familiarity with scripting and automation is a plus. •Candidate is expected to be Self-motivated with inquisitive mind and ability to work independently with multi-disciplinary organization. •Must have effective communication skills (both written and oral).

Expected Salary Range

$63,500.00 - $142,000.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
