Summary of Role:

Work on improving the line yield for the module. Work on continuous improvement projects that involve recipe improvement for module KPI needs.

Essential Responsibilities:

Work on improving the line yield for the module. Work on continuous improvement projects that involve recipe improvement for module KPI needs. Actively involve in Technology transfer and actively collaborate on projects with other GlobalFoundries Fabs. Through Alternate Part qualifications, second source vendor qualification and Throughput improvement projects improve cost per move for the process. Develop and deploy new preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and standard of operating procedures. Work on the physical vapor deposition (PVD) module and take ownership of the Hardmask fabrication process tools. Perform mainframe and process chambers defect reduction. Develop recovery plans, setup and maintain fault detection and classification (FDC) and statistical process control (SPC) for equipment. Troubleshoot and develop recovery plans for products, support yield and perform continual improvement process (CIP) activities and improve processes using statistical tools and DOE techniques.

Other Responsibilities:

· Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications:

· Education – Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Material Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or closely related field of study.

· Experience – 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Requires 2 years of experience in: Statistical process control (SPC); Troubleshooting for process and tool issues; Design of experiment (DOE); Fault detection and classification (FDC); Semiconductor Process FMEA and risk assessment; Microsoft Excel (pivot tables).

Salary range: $97,070– $115,500

Salary range: $97,070– $115,500
