ERM recently launched ERM Climate Markets to leverage ERM's unparalleled technical and project management expertise to help build the carbon credit projects of tomorrow. We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager with carbon markets experience to join this dynamic area of ERM.

Key Responsibilities: Sales and Revenue Generation:  * Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.  * Identify and approach potential clients to sell carbon credit solutions.  * Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the carbon credit market.  * Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiations, and closing deals.

Business Development:  * Identify new business opportunities and market segments for carbon credit sales.  * Work with ERM international network of subject matter experts to drive revenue generation and pipeline growth for ERM Climate Markets.  * Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective marketing campaigns and lead generation strategies.  * Attend industry conferences, seminars, and networking events.

Reporting and Analysis:  * Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, preparing regular reports for senior management.  * Provide market feedback and insights to help refine product offerings and sales strategies.  * Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities.

Qualifications:  * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field.  * Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role, and 2 years' experience in the carbon markets.  * Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.  * Strong understanding of carbon credits, carbon markets, and environmental sustainability.  * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.  * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.  * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  * Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.  * Willingness to travel as required.  * Collaborative team member with an awareness of key risk considerations in the carbon markets
