As a Photo Equipment Supervisor at Micron Technology in Manassas, VA (MTV), you will have ownership of 300mm equipment in a high-tech manufacturing line. Typical duties include applying available automation systems to achieve high volume manufacturing, supporting new tool installations, optimizing process and tool operating conditions, minimizing human and machine-induced errors, implementing statistical process control systems, and innovating other engineering solutions to eliminate risk and improve the sensitivity of measurements. The Equipment Supervisor will be responsible for leading and developing the Photo Shift Equipment Engineering team and promoting safe processes and practices throughout the site. The Team's mission is to strategically identify, characterize and improve the area's overall cost, output, and quality performance through data-driven analysis and driving subsequent improvements. This team is also responsible for the ownership of FDC, Space, GeRM, SWR, GCP, Process Conversions, sister fab alignment, and defect reduction.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead all staffing, training, and personnel development of the shift equipment team.

  • Provide metrics to gauge the success of the team and develop goals and provide timelines for completion and will also be encouraged to work closely with other areas to resolve yield, defect' and quality issues.

  • Responsible for evaluating data generated by the Equipment Engineers, RDA, PI, YE, and sister Fabs and have the ability to evaluate the quality of data collected, draw conclusions based on the data and initiate follow-up actions.

  • Work closely with the area leadership to support site and company initiatives and set the strategic direction for the department.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will hold the title of T3/E2 or higher. Prior supervisory experience is preferred. They must possess outstanding presentation, organizational, leadership, and communication skills. It is also crucial that they have a proven knowledge of work systems and data analysis tools and have the willingness to accept responsibility for projects and follow them through to completion. Additionally, they will be a "Team builder" with a strong focus on effective team dynamics and distributed responsibility.

Leadership Skills Required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Effective time management and prioritization skills

  • Strong collaboration skills to help encourage good teamwork among colleagues and vendor counterparts

  • Ability to communicate vision and can run highly effective meetings

  • Engaged in conflict management and resolution in a timely manner

  • Consistent track record of efficiently driving TPM through 6s, M-Tags, and CIP execution

  • Demonstrated the ability to drive high team engagement and consistently achieve key performance measures

  • Has a passion for organizational development and ability to work well with other leaders

Technical Skills Required

  • Experience with TEL ACT12, LITHIUS, LITHIUS PRO/PROV and LITHIUS PROZ tracks

  • Experience with ASML Scanners (XT, NXT)

  • Sound problem solving skills and proficiency to work on equipment related issues

  • Ensure compliance to all Safety work standards for the site, as well as local area requirements

  • Proficient at data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Understanding of the 365nm, 248nm, 193nm and Immersion scanners

  • Sustained PM performance by successfully meeting the planned metric goals

  • Have lead projects that drove technical innovation resulting in equipment and/or process improvement

  • Experience driving Lean Manufacturing concepts, such as Gemba walks
