MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced Project Manager local to the Manassas, Virginia area to support our fast-growing Data-IWS (In-Building Wireless Solutions) division.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Managing projects and prioritizing for self, project teams, vendors, and contractors.

• Setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring the progress of projects.

• Offering solutions to resolve basic project issues with limited guidance.  

• Managing project activities against schedule/milestones, effectively.  

• Managing construction submittals, bids, and permits for all projects.

• Developing reports for management review.

• Relying on extensive judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

• Communicating and collaborating well with other teams and customers.

• Demonstrating awareness of all nine areas of project management knowledge (PMBOK) or applicable PM (Project Manager) standards with a firm understanding.

• Supporting the improvement of processes/procedures to drive project efficiency.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

• 3+ years of experience in project management within a construction environment.

• Ability to manage construction submittals, bids, and permits for all projects.

• Proficient with ERP systems and developing reports for management review. 

• Understanding local public safety customers, such as police, fire, and emergency medical services is a plus.  

• Understanding two-way radio, DAS, microwave, and cellular infrastructure communications products, services, and systems is a plus.

• PMP (Project Management Professional) is highly desired or is working towards PMP.

WORK REQUIREMENTS:

This position offers a hybrid work schedule. The Project Manager will need to be local to the Manassas, Virginia area to support the company and customers needs when necessary.
