Job Description

Manages the day-to-day activities of Learning and Organizational Development programs. Manages and identifies training solutions for all employees and creates training initiatives.

Job Responsibility

  • Provides leadership to Learning and Organizational Development team members and supervisors by communicating and guiding toward achieving department objectives.

  • Tracks budgets, negotiate contracts, build and maintain relationships with third-party training providers.

  • Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for goals in alignment with the health system.

  • Selects, develops, manages and evaluates direct reports; ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely fashion.

  • Manages the day-to-day activities of the education programs for a particular department.

  • Ensures that the learning management systems and content providers are identified and configured.

  • Collaborates with third party vendors to support, configure and manage systems.

  • Designs training and skill development programs that are aligned with the health system's objectives; collaborate with various business units and leaders to define specific training requirements.

  • Assesses the success of the development plans and modify where necessary; acts as the principal point of contact for anyone with questions about training and development.

Job Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience and 2-5 years of leadership / management experience, required.

Highly Preferred

  • Prior experience managing Epic Principal trainers preferred

  • Prior Epic implementation experience preferred

  • Certification as a Principal trainer or prior experience as a Credentialed trainer preferred

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).

The salary range for this position is $91,400-$158,100/year
