Job Title: PM Transportation Dispatcher

Job Brief:

• To ensure all school bus routes and activity routes are running in an efficient, timely manner so they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program.

Location:

• Transportation Department.

Salary:

• \$18.00/hour.

Hours Per Day:

• 9:15 a.m. - 6:15 p.m. (lunch 12-1).

Days Per Year:

• 12-month position.

Reports To:

• Director of Transportation.
• Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the provisions of the Boards policy on the Evaluation of Certified Personnel.

Job Duties:

• Make sure all bus routes are covered.
• Dispatch school buses from base radio.
• Perform work in a neat and organized manner.
• Invoice and bill groups for field and activity trips as billing secretary.
• Follow work assignments from the Transportation Director and perform any special duties necessary for efficient transportation facility operation.
• Operate school buses as assigned as a substitute driver.
• Work as a team with AM dispatcher.
• Other duties as assigned by director.
