INF Associates LLC Energy & Lighting Auditor in Manhattan, New York

INF Associates is looking to fill a new position on our building decarbonization team supporting a diverse set of energy solutions and lighting projects. The role will support the development of projects for premier companies and real estate portfolios in metro-NYC and beyond, identifying and developing energy-efficient solutions throughout buildings to support our clients sustainability goals. The initial focus will be conducting energy audits with emphasis on lighting and lighting controls systems. The applicant should be detail-oriented, have knowledge of building systems, and enjoy working with professionals of all types, from building trades and operating engineers to sustainability managers and architects. The role calls for a well-rounded professional with strong verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and an ambitious personality in a fast- growing firm. This position is primarily field based (3+ days per week) with a majority of auditing sites located within metro-NYC.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits of existing facilities to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities, with emphasis on lighting and lighting control systems.

  • Post-audit, support the engineering and design team to develop the recommended solutions, projected outcomes, and financial implications based on project documents and audit findings.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure an understanding of energy solutions, the clients specific requirements, and complete projects within deadlines.

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the sales team during client interactions.

  • Utilize CRM programs, Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and other tools for data management and documentation.

  • Be flexible on learning and supporting new responsibilities as the role evolves and new opportunities arise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or associates degree in engineering, engineering technology, lighting solutions, or related field preferred.

  • 2-3 years of professional experience preferred, with a basic understanding of building technologies and energy solutions. Experience performing field work such as construction management is ideal.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and CRM programs.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration.

Salary: $60K-$70K/year
