HOURS:

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

  • Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 5:30pm

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee the daily operations of our growing fleet. As a Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance, logistics, and overall efficiency of our vehicles. This is a critical role that requires excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a keen attention to detail. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement fleet management strategies to ensure optimal utilization of resources.

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all vehicles in the fleet, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to schedule and prioritize vehicle maintenance and inspections.

  • Manage all aspects of vehicle procurement, including researching and selecting vendors.

  • Monitor vehicle performance and fuel efficiency, making recommendations for improvements.

  • Review and analyze fleet data and develop reports to track performance and identify areas for optimization.

  • Review drivers' performance and ensure they adhere to company policies and safety standards.

  • Report on areas of risk and concern to the appropriate parties to ensure corrective action is undertaken.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective fleet maintenance.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in transportation management or a related field

  • Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role

  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in using fleet management software and tools

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements

  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
