Hunts Maintenance and Services Cleaning Technician in Manistique, Michigan
Hunt's Maintenance & Services is looking for a full-time person to work in Manistique and Escanaba with reimbursement for mileage. This position is scheduled to begin July 1, 2024.
Wages are $16/hour to start with a review after the probationary period.
Position Summary:
The Cleaning Technician at Hunts Maintenance and Service is a crucial member of our team responsible for delivering exceptional cleaning services to our clients. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to cleanliness, and the ability to work independently while following established cleaning protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning Operations
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including but not limited to vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Clean and maintain restrooms, kitchens, office spaces, and common areas to established standards.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Product and Equipment Use:
- Safely and effectively use cleaning products, chemicals and equipment, following manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
- Ensure that cleaning equipment is properly maintained and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Quality and Efficiency
- Complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently and with attention to detail.
- Maintain high-quality standards for cleanliness and presentation.
- Report any issues or deficiencies to a supervisor promptly.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Ahere to company policies and industry regulations related to cleaning procedures and safety.
- Client Interaction
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and their employees.
- Respond to client requests and concerns promptly and appropriately.
- Inventory Management
- Keep track of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need replenishing.
- Maintain a clean and organized supply cart or area.
- Documentation:
- Complete required documentation, such as cleaning logs and checklists, accurately and on time.
Report any incidents, accidents or issues to the supervisor as required.
