As a US Enterprise Field Engineering Leader, you will have the opportunity to impact Apple’s enterprise business by leading our technical teams focused on empowering our customers in the Enterprise, Government and Healthcare markets to establish and deliver best-in-class practices that enable the broad adoption the Apple platform in their organizations. You will collaborate with Regional Sales Leaders, Account Executives, Channel and Carrier Service and Sales leaders, Worldwide teams and functions, as well as cross-functional teams to align critical technical resources on your team to strategic business opportunities to achieve growth objectives. This role will orchestrate and support initiatives to improve the capacity and capabilities of our internal technical teams to support customers and partners to deliver modern and scalable strategies to increase the proliferation of environments and practices that grow Apple’s share of the market, and align with our US and Worldwide enterprise strategy. Areas of work span new offering development, partner leadership engagement, technical solution selling and development, as well as direct engagement with service delivery teams on “last mile” efforts to ensure standards of service and excellence. Responsible for expanding the landscape of trusted and capable partners and their solutions and service delivery capabilities against key performance indicators established by Apple’s Senior Leadership in Enterprise. Travel is required.

Description

This role demands a seasoned leader who can inspire and develop a premier field engineering organization. You will ensure the team is fully aligned with the enterprise sales strategy, capable of delivering innovative solutions, and positioned as trusted advisors to drive the adoption of the Apple platform in enterprise environments. This role also requires critical thinking, the ability to conceive and implement impactful programs, and the expertise to influence internal and external partners across technical and non-technical domains. This individual will be expected to responsible for; Continuing to build and maintain a high-performing field engineering organization that embodies innovation, technical expertise, and customer-centricity. Ensure the team is skilled in solution selling for end-user computing and mobility, consistently inspiring customers to adopt the Apple platform. Assess and recruit talent to ensure the organization evolves with market needs, maintaining a strong bench of technical expertise. Build, lead, and collaborate to get results from great Enterprise Engineering teams across the organization. Assemble the right people, motivate them, and enable them with therighttools to drive outcomes. Provide direction and input to the approach and strategy for our US Enterprise Indirect business and help define Apple’s enterprise success framework. Be an entrepreneurial self-starter who can be part of an executive team, but work independently to develop new areas. Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze business performance and data sets to find opportunities for the business through performance tracking and in context analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Approximately 8-10 years of experience leading Enterprise focused Engineering teams, or similar experience in leading a technical solutions-orientated organization that balanced delivering on short-term goals, while creating sustainable value for customers and demand for the future.

  • You understand there are many moving parts in an organization. Navigating the interdependencies within Apple is needed for success. Understanding how business financials work, and strategies for sustaining profitable growth, are key to staying ahead of the competition. You analyze the market and think beyond the short-term.
