Job Summary:

The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for performing various tests and analyses on pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet the necessary quality standards and regulatory requirements. This position plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of our quality control processes and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and specifications.

  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.

  • Document and report test results, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.

  • Assist in the investigation of quality-related issues, including deviations and out-of-specification (OOS) results.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development and validation of new testing methods.

  • Participate in internal audits and inspections by regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to safety procedures and protocols.

  • Stay current on industry trends and advancements in quality control methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field preferred; Associate degree or relevant certifications may be considered.

  • Previous experience in a quality control role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and techniques

  • Must have experience with at least one of these tests AGP, IFA, PCR, Eliza, AJHI, MFIA, tissue culture, or cell culture **

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to effectively communicate findings and collaborate with team members.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
