REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be available the entire work period of 03/14/2025-12/12/2025. Must agree to work Mon-Fri, 6 hours per day, Sat, 6 hours. Employer will provide transportation from employer provided living quarters to work site every day. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 1 months of verifiable experience in all job duties. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, ability to lift 60 lbs., repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping, extensive pushing and pulling.

 JOB DUTIES: Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities. Crops/Commodities: alpacas. This job requires a minimum of 1 month of agricultural field work experience, including shearing animals, preferably working on an alpaca farm handling manual tasks. Applicants must be able to furnish verbal or written statement establishing relevant prior work experience. Perform complete alpaca herd care and maintenance. Prepare alpaca for show/sales. Feed, water, groom and shear herd. Collect the fleece. Maintain nutrition and routine herd health. Peform emergency medical care. Clean and maintain facilities and paddock. Assist with birthing females. Follow quarantine procedures. Attend to special needs of offspring (cria). Mow, cut, and weed fields. Perform ditching, shoveling, hoeing, hauling, ground preparation, and other manual tasks. Bending, stooping and kneeling required. Use hand tools including but not limited to hoes, shovels, shears, clippers, loppers, and saws. Lift, carry, and load/unload alpacas, products or supplies.
