Our dedicated team of Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, Orthoptists and Nurses, along with Certified Technicians and Assistants, provide next level diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the eye using state of the art technology. Our providers specialize in various ophthalmology and optometry subspecialities including Cornea and Refractive Surgery, Glaucoma, Neuro Ophthalmology, Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, and Vitreoretinal Disease. Our all inclusive approach ensures our present and future patients receive the best outcome possible. As a Clinical Support Professional, you will play a meaningful role in supporting providers and patients during their clinic visits. Key responsibilities include monitoring clinic schedules, greeting and guiding patients to their examination room, and collecting pertinent medical information for their health records. In addition, you will be a valued partner in delivering an outstanding patient experience by coordinating and communicating with other members of the health care team, including nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and physicians, among others. Minimum Qualifications: Ability to obtain Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification within 2 years of hire BLS certification or certification within orientation period. Excellent customer service skills Accurate record keeping Experience working with EMR (Epic preferred) One year of clinical experience in Optometry/Ophthalmology Preferred Qualifications: Certified Paraoptometic Assistant (CPOA) credential One of the following: JCAHPO Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or JCAHPO Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) If selected for hire, compensation and job classification will be individually determined based on a candidate's specific background, including licensure, certifications, and experience level.
