Job Title: Inserter Operator Summary: This position is responsible for accurately inserting, folding, metering quality checking, and sorting customer mail per written instructions. Essential Position Responsibilities: Understand and learn/perform all aspects of inserting process including material movement, set-up, post processing and U.S.P.S. defined requirements. Ability to follow defined processes and procedures including ISO and job tickets. Learn Production Software including PACE and BLUECREST Machine software. To sort different types of postal defined mail Attach correct tray tags to corresponding trays or tubs matching the mail it contains To set-up and operate Inserters, Folders and Ink jet Work with team members to successfully complete established goals and schedules Responsible for keeping the work area clean and orderly Other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift, push, and/or pull objects up to 50 pounds routinely; the ability to work with heavy machinery. Detail orientated. Good organizational and mathematical skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
