As an Surface Mount Soldering and Assembly Technician, you'll lead the charge in solder paste alignment, hand soldering, quality assurance, and fine-tuning production processes. Dive into replenishing SMT components, expertly operating reflow ovens, and preparing wires for seamless integration.

Job responsibilities include:

• Maintains and aligns solder paste stencils, applies solder paste to achieve an even and consistent screen print on all apertures.

• Replenishes and controls SMT components in a pick and place machine, verifies component positioning, values and polarity. Fills in process documentation to be complete and accurate.

• Review routings against prints to ensure consistency. Verify correct programs and revisions are called out on routers.

• Learn machine part parameters and programs to ensure optimization of machine time usage.

• Periodic hand soldering under a scope is required for solder touch up and product review of solder joints.

• Uses basic hand tools, special fasteners, soldering iron and measuring devices. May be required to measure and record product data.

• Perform X-Ray inspection using the AXI or Glenbrook to make sure the product we produce meets customer expectations.

• A minimum of 1 year of electrical assembly or SMT experience

• Ability to comprehend and interpret engineer instructions, blueprints, and schematics

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Shift: 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with ample overtime opportunities

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
