Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Field Technician with a reputable water well contractor. Since 1948, our operations have diversified to include a wide variety of groundwater drilling and service operations. This role involves the assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of water well pumps, working both in the shop and in the field.

Work hours are Monday to Friday , 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential overtime if in the field.

Responsibilities

Commercial Pump Technician : $20-$25

• Assembly of pumps, disassembly of pumps, some light painting, water well pumps for the municipalities, working with 6" - 12" pipe and 10', shafting, wire cleaning, will be trained on it,

• They re-manufacture the parts, pumps, and piping to be used again. There are are times where they will be doing general labor type duties, sweeping, carrying heavy parts, (80lbs). MUST BE OK WITH THIS, they try to keep everyone busy to make sure they get 40 hours.

• Have to be comfortable working outdoors as well. Will be splitting time between the shop and field.

Field Technician: $20-$25

• Taking the pumps out of the ground and the piping or they are installing the pumps and the piping. They have a rig that is handling the lifting of the pumps and pipe and the field workers are assembling them on site with the help of the crew. Our people will be assisting. This is not a plumbing or pipefitter position. They simply carry large water pipes and utilize a machine to put the pipes in the ground.

• Have to be comfortable working outside majority of the day. Will be out in the field 95% of the time

Operator: $25-$28 (more pending on the amount of experience)

• HAVE TO HAVE prior operating experience.

• Will be in charge of your own crew (2-3 techs)

• Ideally would have class A CDL already or ability to renew it

• Will have some client exposure as well on sites

• Maintenance and repair of equipment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00
