We seek reliable candidates (perfect hours for a college or responsible high school student) who will work with our various departments to ensure they are prepared for their day. This includes loading and unloading trailers, loading materials and plants, and basic shop and yard maintenance. The hours for this job are going to from 1:00pm-9:00pm Monday Friday (No weekends). Duties and Responsibilities: Unloading of trucks and trailers at end of the day Tool inventory in trucks and trailers Loading and tracking materials and plants in trailers for the following day s work Assisting with property management, including watering plants, cleaning shop, etc. Taking and executing direction from the lead supervisor in a timely and efficient manner Operates trucks, truck/trailer combos, skid steer, and other small equipment and is capable of safely securing them to trailers; Holds a valid DOT physical card and Class D license to operate truck or truck/trailer combos if over 18; Assists with irrigation management including setting up the outdoor irrigation system and managing outdoor irrigation lines through the season; Manages the tracking of labor time for team in appropriate platforms; Is capable of thorough attention to detail; Has the ability to be a team player and work independently if needed; Assists and trains the Garden Support Team, which includes 2-4 staff members on a daily basis; Assures quality workmanship, accountability, and timeliness of completed tasks amongst team; Communicates with Operations manager and HR as needed regarding employee issues; Communicates Company goals to employees; Ensures employees are results-oriented and operate as an efficient team; Safety Duties: Maintain a safe and efficient working environment Training provided Our work environment includes: Great Growth opportunities Education Assistance Program Free items such as but not limited too (plants, seeds, ect..)
