Here, you will make an impact by:Developing and implementing Environmental policies, standards and programs that are aligned with Global EHS Excellence System & Strategy.Continuously monitor global regulatory and legal requirements as well as best practices as needed to update Global environmental policies and standards and assist operations with meeting or exceeding our environmental compliance objectives.Direct Solventum's environmental data management activities and partner with Chief Sustainability Officer and VP Global EHS with goal setting, project initiation & management, and program development to support CSR reporting and sustainable operational processes and the development and publication of environmental & sustainability metrics, dashboards, reports, and presentations for employees, customers suppliers, and other stakeholders.Develop and/or execute strategies to address sustainability issues such as energy use, resource conservation, recycling, pollution prevention, greenhouse gas reduction, waste elimination, transportation, and facility design.Guide and mentor regional EHS managers and site environmental managers on environmental related matters, e.g., regulatory inspections and enforcement actions, regulatory requirements, planning, remediation/mitigation, reporting, source testing, etc. when required.Provide analysis of environmental regulatory changes and develop compliance guidance to regional and site EH&S and operations leaders.Provide technical support for all environmental aspects and/or media (Air, Water, Waste, Chemical Management, etc.) to facilitate proactive & preventative compliance-based decision making.Partner with the Director of H&S and Process Safety, Loss Prevention & Audits to develop a robust EHS enterprise-wide compliance process to comply with applicable regulatory and legal requirements and Solventum's EHS policies, standards and programs.Lead and/or participate in EHS due diligence and acquisition integration activitiesYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher AND (10) years of experience with EH&S Management Systems, i.e., ISO 14001, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), SASB requirements and CSR reporting.ORHigh School Diploma/GED from AND (16) years of experience with EH&S Management Systems, i.e., ISO 14001, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), SASB requirements and CSR reporting.ANDIn addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:5 years of environmental management experience which includes supporting multiple locations and at least 5 years in a leadership roleProven track record of developing and implementing successful global environmental and sustainability programs.Significant knowledge of U.S. Environmental laws and regulations and International environmental requirements.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Certified Professional Engineer (PE), CHMMSuccessfully managed EH&S staff, projects and budgets.Interpersonal, leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication abilities.Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.Ability to influence at all levels.Customer service skills and attention to detail.Work location:Remote - United StatesTravel: May include up to 50% domestic and internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting...Equal Opportunity Employer - minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity
