Here, your impact will:Owns & leads 3PM Operations for Filling, Packaging & Converting ServicesOwns & leads 3PM Operations for Filling, Packaging & Converting ServicesResponsible for driving operational excellence at 3rd Party Manufacturers to improve quality, service, cost and inventoryDevelops and executes strategic and operational plans including establishing and managing budgetsOwns solutions for complex and multi-faceted problems facing the 3rd Party Manufacturing Operations organizationApplies knowledge of various 3rd Party Manufacturing techniques and practices to achieve desired resultsReports 3rd Party Manufacturing Operations performance to upper management, direct team members, and strategic suppliersEstablishes and enforces concepts relevant to 3rd Party Manufacturing Operations to expand and enhance business operationsRegularly communicates with senior functional and business leaders, direct team members, and high-level external clientsHave expertise on 3rd Party Manufacturing Operations including broad knowledge of multiple related disciplines and comprehensive understanding of 3Ms global strategy and structureExecute 3rd Party Manufacturing strategic plan including:Optimizing operations at 3PM suppliers by driving continuous improvement projects around quality, service, cost and inventoryExecuting the transition of core 3rd Party Manufacturing Operations responsibilities to your team as we stand up the 3rd Party Manufacturing Operations organizationDevelop your global team members for improved performance, skills, and career development opportunitiesYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionTen (10) years or more of manufacturing and/or procurement experience in a private, public, government or military environmentFour (4) years of leadership experience in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Previous experience working with 3rd Party Manufacturers in Filling, Packaging & Converting ServicesMaster's degree in business administration, engineering or logistics and supply chain management from an accredited institutionStrong network and global/international experience working with world class suppliers and contract manufacturersExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong problem-solving skills, and collaboration across teams, functions, and organizationWork location: Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)Travel: May include up to 25%, domestic/internationalRelocation: Not AuthorizedGlobal Role: This pos tion can be based in any of the listed locations. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
