Here, you will make an impact by:Enhancing Supply Chain Efficiency: Leading the development and execution of optimization strategies to improve DC network design, routing, mode shift, load and capacity planning, and safety stock.Utilizing Advanced Modeling Software: Implementing supply chain modeling tools to analyze and resolve complex trade-offs related to cost, emissions, customer service, working capital, lead time, and responsiveness.Optimizing Costs and Resources: Determining warehousing and delivery costing functions to minimize variable costs and ensure efficient resource allocation.Executing High-Level Logistics Strategies: Understanding and implementing logistics sourcing strategies to align with overall business goals.Improving Small Parcel and DC Network Efficiency: Formulating and executing strategies for small parcel shipments to enhance network efficiency.Driving Strategic Change: Providing critical analysis to enhance business strategy, refining supply chain practices, and effectively communicating results to key stakeholders to drive impactful change across the organization.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field AND 10 years of job-related experienceANDIn addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:Expertise in optimization principles and software utilization to enhance supply chain performance, including advanced techniques for network design and operational efficiency.Ability to distinguish between simulation and optimization methods, with a clear understanding of their differences and appropriate applications for solving various supply chain challenges.Significant experience in network optimization, logistics operations, and cost analysis, with a proven track record of improving operational performance and cost-efficiency.Preferably 7 years of experience in supply chain planning, design, or consulting, with a comprehensive grasp of core supply chain processes and financial implications.Experience in developing logistics sourcing strategies, optimizing logistics processes, managing lead logistics providers, and optimizing freight costs and small parcel strategies to enhance overall supply chain effectiveness.Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $207,348 - $253,425, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
