    $60,000.00 Annually $2,307.69 Bi-weekly

    Position Summary

    This position is established as a Residential Services Director- SES, under the Program Operations Administrator- SES. The primary function of this position is to provide overall management and supervision to staff and to provide oversight to the active treatment programs of the residents to ensure the daily and on-going operation of the facility. Ability to document and ensure documentation is completed as required.

    This position is established as a Residential Services Director- SES, under the Program Operations Administrator- SES. The primary function of this position is to provide overall management and supervision to staff and to provide oversight to the active treatment programs of the residents to ensure the daily and on-going operation of the facility. Ability to document and ensure documentation is completed as required.

    Provide direct supervision to program supervisors and staff in their provision of services to developmentally disabled people in an ICF/IDD facility including development of Individual Program Plans (IPP) and provision of active treatment programs. Ensure coverage levels are met within established policy and procedure for the Unit.

    Monitor areas of programs and services to ensure compliance with applicable standards related to quality outcomes.

    Consult with program supervisors and administrative staff to resolve problems related to operational, programmatic, or administrative issues. Coordinate and assist with interdepartmental services designed to facilitate active treatment services.

    Acting as the facility manager in the absence of the Program Operations Administrator absence or as delegated.

    Participate in various committees related to quality services and programs.

    Inform and monitor staff concerning rules and regulations related to the performance of duties.

    Assists in formulating plan of correction to correct deficiencies that occurred during the various inspections and surveys. Supervise/monitor the progress of plan of correction, providing frequent updates to Program Operations Administrator.

    Provide training appropriate to the development of appropriate staff skills and abilities. Apply all appropriate policies and procedures related to professional duties.

    Ensure all Incident Reports are completed. Assist Investigators with alleged abuse and neglect of clients by employees as needed.

    Ability to document and ensure documentation is completed as required.

    Completes all required training. Maintain Sunland’s current crisis management prevention and intervention certification as required. Monitor and tracks to ensure assigned staff attend required training.

    Attend to administrative and management issues; attend planning meetings as assigned.

    Apply all appropriate policies and procedures related to professional duties.

    Monitor, in-service, motivate and direct staff in areas of job performance. Complete employee’s performance evaluations and performance expectations within established timeframes as required.

    Maintain timesheet, ensuring accuracy and submit timely in accordance with policy and procedure. Review and approve timesheets as required. Monitor all time and attendance to ensure all coverage levels are met, review and address areas of concern with staff and management as required.

    Assist in the hiring process of staff, to include but not limited to, participating in the interview process, making recommendation(s) for hire. Recommends corrective and/or disciplinary actions as necessary.

    Work with assigned team members on projects of program reviews and ICF deficits reviews. To include data collection, analysis, graphing and presenting.

    Perform Administrative Duty Officer (ADO) duties as scheduled as outlined in applicable policies and procedures.

    Perform other related duties as required.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in education, social work, nursing, rehabilitation counseling, physical therapy, occupational therapy, recreation therapy, speech pathology, audiology, health care management, business, public administration, psychology or special education.

  • Five (5) years of professional experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities.

    • At least seven (7) years of supervisory experience over employees.

    Direct Deposit Program

    As a condition of employment, a person appointed to a position in the State Personnel System is required to participate in the Direct Deposit Program. Banks, savings and loan associations, and credit unions are eligible to accept such deposits. Retirement funds are also required to be in the Direct Deposit Program.

    Background Screening Requirement
