What You Will Be Doing
As the Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Engineer you will be supporting our Fifth Generation Fighters, The F-35 and F-22, as well as C-130 and Advanced Development Programs your NDT knowledge will benefit you when developing new techniques that affect the full life cycle of NDT, including but not limited to, defect analysis, NDT method analysis, and inspection. As an experienced professional in non-destructive testing, you may be sought after for ingenious solutions to complex problems.

AeroNDT
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (STEM) or equivalent experience with current NDE level 3 certifications.
- Current certifications of level II or higher in at least 3 methods IAW NAS-410 or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain ASNT Level III certifications in a minimum of 3 methods within 18 months of starting with at least one certification in RT, PT, or UT.
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in NDT.
- Experience using automated inspection systems
- Experience with electronic drawing systems
Desired Skills:
- ASNT level III certification in 3 disciplines
- Level 2 certification in four methods.
- Experience in Computed Radiography (CR) or Digital Radiography (DR)
- Experience performing supplier NDT audits
- Experience approving supplier techniques & equipment
- Experience working with NDT processes in an MRO&U facility
- Experience working in a Union environment
- Prior experience procuring NDI Equipment
- Prior experience conducting Level 2 training
- Proficient with M.S. Office suite

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
