Substation Protection and Control Engineer hybrid remote opportunity with a client located North of Atlanta in the Marietta, GA area. This position will work on full life cycle projects with a team of engineers and designers focusing on substation protection and control design. The client offers a solid benefits plan. Local candidates are preferred although relocation assistance is available for those eligible.

responsibilities:

• Complete Project Lifecycle Support from Scoping to Final Design and Implementation

• Work with a team of engineers and designers on designs to meet client standards

• Perform relay one-line design, three-line AC schematic design, DC protection schematic design and panel layout and wiring design

• Develop Bill of Materials Based on design criteria

• Interfacing with clients as needed

• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or related degree with approximately 5 or more years of substation protection control design experience

• Demonstrated ability to read and design substation protection and control drawings such as one-line drawings, three-line drawings, AC/DC schematic drawings, and wiring design

• Electrical Power Calculations experience

• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with the internal team and clients to meet project needs

• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure situations
