Description: We are Lockheed Martin

The story of aviation has always been the story of people who have the courage to fail, to try again and to one day succeed. Since Lockheed Martin’s inception and continuing today, the passion to advance aeronautical design and help our customers achieve mission success has been ingrained in our culture. It is that passion combined with a strategic focus on ever changing global challenges that shapes our path forward.

This is an opportunity to work on the Simulation and Systems Test (SST) Systems Engineering team. SST is a highly innovative team responsible for developing, testing and maintaining aircraft simulation systems and subsystems utilized for aircraft capability integration and weapons systems development from concept design through production and delivery.

The primary responsibility of this position is to support system/subsystem hardware and software integration. The integrator will utilize standard engineering practices to integrate complex hardware and software systems. This position requires interaction, planning and coordination with multiple systems engineering, software development, aircraft engineering and data engineering/maintenance teams. Integration requires a creative mind. Many of the modeling and simulation requirements derive from the need to integrate components that have not been previously used together. This often requires thinking outside the box for a solution.

You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
