ManpowerGroup Capital Construction Project Manager in Marietta, Pennsylvania

Job Posting: Capital Construction Project Manager

Location: Marietta PA 17547 (On-Site/possibly Hybrid)

Duration: 1 Year plus

Pay Rate: $70/hr (plus depending on experience)

We are seeking a Capital Construction Project Manager with extensive experience in capital construction projects (10 plus years a must). This role involves acting as the local Capital Construction Project Manager point of contact, leading procurement activities, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate communication between procurement, suppliers, and stakeholders.

  • Build strategic relationships and champion project safety culture.

  • Update Project Procurement and Contracting strategy.

  • Engage with legal teams on project matters.

  • Lead procurement for EPCM and Validation packages using Ariba platform.

  • Assist EPCM in strategy for awarding subcontractor packages.

  • Ensure EPCM activities align with policies.

  • Lead commercial discussions and manage contractual approvals.

  • Develop strategic sourcing strategies and support purchase orders creation.

  • Record savings and set up regular review meetings.

  • Conduct regular meetings with project teams and EPCM.

  • Ensure contract signatures and purchase order approvals adhere to policies.

  • Act as primary contact for escalations.

  • Track EPCM performance and manage contract changes.

  • Support contract execution and claim management.

  • Consult with legal advisors and lead dispute management strategies.

  • Ensure project contractual closing aligns with standards.

  • Capture and record savings according to company policy.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in procuring services, construction, and equipment for complex projects (e.g., EPC or EPCM).

  • 10+ years in capital projects ($150M+), preferably in Pharma or Chemical industries.

  • Knowledge of cost estimation and Front-End Loading principles.

  • Experience with US construction standard forms (e.g., AIA, EJCDC).

  • Strong contractual risk management and commercial model expertise.

  • Knowledge of local regulations and legal requirements.
