We currently have an opportunity for a Director of Environmental Health and Safety at our Marinette, Wisconsin location. The Director of EHS is the strategic leader responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs within the organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Develop, implement, and manage EH&S programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintains and improves safety management systems (ISO 14001/ISO 45001). Ensure integration of EH&S considerations into various aspects of the organization\'s operations. Stay abreast of changes in environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards. Ensure the organization\'s compliance with relevant regulatory requirements. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential environmental, health, and safety hazards. Collaborate with departmental managers to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop EH&S training programs for employees at all levels. Deliver appropriate training programs to select teams. Foster a culture of safety consciousness and environmental responsibility through education and communication. Assist in investigations into incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes. Prepare comprehensive reports, including recommendations for preventive measures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to EH&S programs, incidents, and compliance. Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies. Develop and implement initiatives to enhance environmental sustainability. Work with senior leadership to align EH&S initiatives with overall business strategy. Provide strategic guidance on emerging EH&S trends and technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to ensure a holistic approach to EH&S.
