FS Companies are committed to ensuring the continued profitability for the company, their owners, and their customers, while enacting to help the environment and greater good. _ SUMMARY_ Accept responsibility and accountability for all personnel and equipment that pertains to day to day operations of the Marion Warehouse and Route 148 Petroleum Bulk Plant. Manage and assist day to day operations, including sales to patrons and prospects. * ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Promote sales and service of all products sold by the company. 1. Properly display, maintain and market all product lines. 2. Accountable for Billing of all Products and services. 3. Personal contact of assigned accounts. 4. Schedule delivery of products and the routing 3 to 6 custom applicators of Dry Fertilizer, Pesticides and Custom Anhydrous ammonia. 5. Responsible for the Petroleum Bulk Plant on Route 148. See that bulk products are delivered to bulk plant and monthly housekeeping as needed along with facility Maintenance as needed. 2. Employee relations. 1. Establish a job description and standards of performance for each and every employee. 2. Conduct an annual review for each employee and if deemed necessary, periodically. 3. Provide day to day leadership and direction to employee group. 3. Plant Operations. 1. Practice good prevention maintenance. 2. Maintain facilities and equipment in neat and orderly fashion--(vehicles, tools, office, and shop). 3. Maintain operational hours as patrons needs deem necessary -- (timely arrival to work, special hours to meet patron needs). 4. Make patron satisfaction a top priority. 5. Supervise all employees assigned to your location. 4. Handle complaint and follow-up. 1. Acknowledge complaint (report to supervisor) and present solution promptly - (24 hours). Also, communicate complaint to product specialist. 5. Administering credit. 1. Follow company credit policy and conditions. 2. Have credit approved on all new patrons. 3. Make eligible patrons aware of agri-finance service. 4. Assist in collection of all accounts as assigned. 6. Product inventories. 1. Maintain a reasonable inventory of "sellable" products. 2. Count inventory on a monthly basis and account for any longs and shorts. 7. Other duties. 1. Attend all company functions - (Annual meetings, company meetings, farm bureau functions, Company functions, etc.). Arrive on a timely basis. 2. Obtain prior approval from supervisor for any personal time needed. (Vacations, personal days, etc.). 3. Project a good image of company in personal appearance and habits. 4. Maintain an active interest in self development and personal improvement. 5. Company vehicle will be furnished for use of job related duties only. 6. Perform other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned from time to time. 7. Submit weekly activity reports on contacts and projects. _ SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES_ Directly supervises employees at the Location. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. _ CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS_ Job duties will dictate the appropriate class or endorsements needed but the minimum requirement will be a Class A-CDL with the appropriate endorsements (ATX). Illinois Department of Agriculture Pesticide License (Applicator) Haz-Woper Trained _ OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES_ Location manager will need to be mechanically inclined and able to work on all equipment on the location.
