Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the supervision of a pharmacist, makes pharmaceutical therapies available for patients through preparation, repackaging, and distribution of drugs and drug-like products. Demonstrates the ability to support pharmacists in delivering patient care. Possesses understanding and experience within a variety of pharmacy work environments. Demonstrates exceptional time management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Provides leadership in work areas and assigned projects. Exercises management responsibilities through problem-solving and collaboration, independently and as delegated by supervising pharmacist or preceptor. Provides excellent customer care by helping to maintain an organized and efficient workflow in the pharmacy.
Required Education: Actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy.
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree
Required License: Enrolled in a school of pharmacy with intent to register as a pharmacy intern with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy as evidenced by an initiated North Carolina Practical Pharmacy Experience Affidavit on file with the Mission facility with the start date and assigned pharmacist preceptor. Experience to be updated quarterly.
Preferred Experience: 2 or more years of pharmacy experience
This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
