JOB REQUIREMENTS: Chief responsibility is to manage patient care according to established standards; interpret and integrate the patient\'s medical history to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; establish a diagnosis and treatment plan; respond to medical emergencies; educate patients and families regarding disease processes, treatment, regimes, and preventative measures; order and administer injections, immunizations, and oral medications; prescribe medicine; and to develop and participate in patient education materials and programs. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: The position requires: medical degree (M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent); successful completion of residency in internal medicine; must have or be eligible for licensure to practice medicine from the State of Wisconsin; must be eligible for hospital and health plan privileges; and may not at any time have been or be excluded from participation in any federally funded program, including Medicare and Medicaid. ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: rutta.jessica@marshfieldclinic.org
