General Summary and Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Sr. Financial Analyst reports to the Director of Finance and plays a critical role supporting the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process, utilizing vast sources of data to generate financial models and reports, and assisting with the presentation of business unit performance to senior management. This individual will have a critical role in the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process and will be instrumental as we continue to build automated analytical tools (MS Excel and Power BI) that drive improved performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities to include:

- - Support the Daily Sales order report, monthly forecasting/SIOP and annual planning process with a focus on identifying risks and opportunities while aligning resources with strategic priorities. - Data driven analysis of financial results focused on comparisons to trends and benchmarks to support decision making and assessment of financial outcomes. - Customer/product profitability analysis, including pricing, spread, and mix management and recommendations. - Analyze business opportunities and investments with a strong orientation to long-term enterprise value creation. - Focus on process optimization, including automation and standardization of weekly and monthly processes and reporting to ensure consistent messaging across deliverables, utilizing Microsoft Excel, SQL and Power BI. - Support MandA modeling and analysis to understand and project potential long-term value creation of various deals. - Assist Finance Leadership and Executive Leadership Team in developing longer-range strategic business models and visualizations. - Various responsibilities related to monthly close, journal entries, accrual calculations for rebate and agent commission, and related documentation - Provide other Ad-hoc financial analysis support.
