About Ameren Missouri

Ameren Missouri has been providing electric and gas service for more than 100 years, and our electric rates are among the lowest in the nation. Ameren Missouri's mission is to power the quality of life for our 1.2 million electric and 132,000 natural gas customers in central and eastern Missouri. Our service area covers 64 counties and more than 500 communities including the greater St. Louis area.

The Supervisor, Transmission Crew supervises, develops, and evaluates Transmission Linemen and manages transmission electric construction and/or service crews.

Key responsibilities include:

· This position will be reporting at Dorsett and assisting as needed throughout the state of Missouri.

· Responsible for the day-to-day leadership of linemen performing maintenance and operation of all Company transmission lines 100kV and above and rights-of-way within the above Districts

· Enforce safe work practices; obtain WPA when needed; handle minor right-of-way damage claims; supervise maintenance of headquarters buildings and property; and coordinate equipment tool inventory and supplies for the crews

· Act as crew supervisor on seasonal out-of-town line construction projects within the transmission work group

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Five or more years of journeyman lineman experience required. Five or more years of transmission line construction experience on wood H-Frame or steel tower line projects strongly preferred.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

Demonstrated good leadership, communication, decision-making and human relations skills required. Must have ability to work independently. Computer skills preferred. Subject to 24-hour call-out. Requires flexibility of hours and travel.

Additional Information

Ameren’s selection process includes a series of interviews and may include candidate testing and/or an individual aptitude or skill-based assessment. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.

Compensation Range:

$102,500.00 - $158,900.00

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
