Legrand has an exciting opportunity for aQuoatations Specialistto join the Electrical Wiring Systems Teamin Mascoutah, IL.The Quoatations Specialist will approve quotations based on an evaluation of regional markets, product mix, and competitive information. Develop pricing strategies along with regional sales teams to support corporate pricing objectives. Provide analytical data to sales and marketing regarding changes in the marketplace.

What Will You Do?

  • Evaluate pricing and approve quotes on job quotes based on margin, product mix, competition and strategic impact.

  • Review Bill of Material to ensure completed system.

  • Collaborate with Technical Services in the completion of design take-offs for cross-over of competitor jobs in order to develop a quote with Cablofil material and services.

  • Conduct pricing reviews on particular category items.

  • Assist in customer pricing analysis on an individual request or project basis by supplying and/or analyzing specific pricing information.

  • Provide technical guidance to customers on specific products lines.

  • Performs other similar and related duties as required.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Education:

  • B/S in Business a plus.

    Experience:

  • 5+ years Sales, Quotations, Customer Service or Financial analysis experience.

  • Pricing experience preferred.

    Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Must develop and maintain technical product knowledge.

  • Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, organize and accomplish a diversified work load.

  • Must be detail oriented. Requires strong organizational and time management skills and be able to effectively multi-task.

  • Demonstrated strong customer service orientation.

  • Must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team based environment.

  • Must possess good analytical skills and have demonstrated problem solving capability.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to provide clear and concise information. Must be an effective listener, able to focus, extract necessary information and validate understanding of the information.

  • Strong computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software, e-mail and meeting management software. Ability to use internet and web based resources efficiently and effectively. Knowledge of Salesforce and SAP is a plus.

  • The position is a hybrid work environment, allowing for 2 days per week working remotely with 3 days scheduled in the office. The communicative nature of the position requires that primary activities be completed during business hours, however schedule flexibility is available as needed to allow for specific personal circumstances.
