Hi-Tek Manufacturing, Inc. Final Quality Inspector in Mason, Ohio

Hi-Tek Manufacturing is searching for experienced Final Quality Inspector for 2^nd^ shift who wishes to continuing developing his or her career as a Final Quality Inspector through advanced manufacturing technology by executing a higher level of workmanship. 2^nd^ shift offers a generous shift differential    3:30pm-12:00am Mon-Fri ***OT may be required as needed *

[Essential Duties and Tasks]{.underline}[ ]{.underline}

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the operator is responsible for following all policies and procedures associated with the various parts and equipment that he or she will be trained and certified to run. In addition, operators load/unload parts to fulfil production demands, inspect parts using various precision measuring tools, accept or reject parts, and communicate any changes, both verbally and in writing.

Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications

Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications visually and using hard gauge precision measuring tools such as borescopes, rulers, calipers, gauges, micrometers

Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances to complete inspection as required

Performs final inspection on parts as required

Verifies the proper completion of paperwork

Check status of non-conformances and processes them accordingly

Documents actions by updating control charts, travelers, and reporting labor in the ERP system

Perform under AS9100 quality standards and NADCAP accreditation

Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties.

Follow all Hi-Tek policies and procedures, including the use of proper PPE

Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment.

Effective communication and people skills to maintain a working relationship with Quality, Engineering, and Management

Dependability, integrity, cooperation and taking the initiative for work responsibilities and challenges are critical
