Job Description:

As a Manufacturing Technician B (Intermediate Level) you will be responsible for contributing to the success of our Sensors Division as part of our Production team. Additionally, this role will be responsible for performing testing, troubleshooting, and assembly of electro optical and infrared products.

Essential Functions:

  • Performing functional test procedures on various electronic products.

  • Troubleshoot and repair systems by replacing electronic assemblies.

  • Install software and firmware in accordance with instructions.

  • Work to contractual deadlines to meet customer delivery dates.

  • Work independently and with a team.

  • Maintain required service documentation in appropriate documents.

  • Provide regular status reports on work in progress.

  • Understand and follow appropriate test equipment / safety procedures and PPE requirements

    Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary / Associates Degree with 0-2 years of prior related experience.

  • 2 years experience using hand tools and electronic test equipment.

  • 2 years experience in reading test procedures, operating instructions, drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications.

  • 2 years or more of experience Microsoft Office.

  • Must be a United States Citizen.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Technical knowledge and skills in troubleshooting down to the component level.

  • Analog and digital troubleshooting skills.

  • Planning/organizational skills with ability to prioritize work assignments.

  • Ability to work individually and in a diverse and team-oriented environment.
