Job Description

An employer is seeking multiple mechanical assemblers for a contract to hire opportunity in the Mason, OH area. These assemblers responsible for a variety of assembly operations tasks-assembling precision electro-optical semiconductor components and soldering under levels of optical magnification. Additional responsibilities will include configuring cabling, supporting on-time delivery projects, inspection of hardware and utilizing microscopes to oversee the assembly of circuit board chips for the aerospace client. Additional qualifications would be a J-STD-001 or IPC-A-610 or the ability to take a 1 week class to get certified. The role will be first shift and has start times available from 530-830am Monday-Friday, on a 9/80 schedule, so every other Friday will be off.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of electro-mechanical assembly experience

Ability to read blueprints and schematics

Soldering experience with electronic / electrical components

Aerospace, military, automotive, or industrial setting experience is preferred J-STD-001 or IPC-A-610 cert

Military or DoD industry background null
