Job Title: Set Up Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Set Up Technician, responsible for setting up and maintaining production quality for various grinding equipment including infeed, Thrufeed, and Studer machines. This role involves making mechanical adjustments, diagnosing routine machine problems, operating and repairing machines under guidance, and devising methods to set up and machine workpieces. Responsibilities also include loading and unloading parts, machine setup and sizing parts using micrometers and other equipment, ensuring maintenance and operation of equipment, completing necessary paperwork, and conducting general cleanup. Advanced training of machine operators in maintenance and troubleshooting is also part of the role.

Work Environment

Our 800,000 sq ft facility is clean and climate-controlled with air conditioning in summer and heating in winter. Employees receive two paid 10-minute breaks during each shift.
