The responsibilities of the Camp Lease Coordinator include assisting in the planning and execution of recreational activities within the district, administering the leased camp program, managing and conserving natural resources, and participating in fire suppression efforts to protect the forest from wildfires. This position requires an understanding of state forest rules, regulations, and guidelines, excellent organizational skills, sound customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals in forest management and conservation.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time, seasonal employment without benefits. The season runs from approximately March until November 2024 at which the employee is placed on leave without pay. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Overtime: May be authorized by Management. This position includes a significant amount of work time in the field. Headquarter location will move to new Resource Management Center on Route 402 in Porter Township in fall of 2024. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time on an ad-hoc basis upon successful completion of probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Swiftwater. This position may be eligible for Alternate Work Schedule (AWS).

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree. Other Requirements:

This particular position also requires you to be in possession of a valid class C driver's license. You must meet the PA residency requirement.
