Century Contractors, Inc. Accounting Clerk in Matthews, North Carolina

Century Contractors is currently seeking a highly motivated Accouting Clerk to join our team. The Accounting Clerk is responsible for carrying out administrative functions to support our accounting team. The position will directly assists with the accounting department's administration and day-to-day operations. This will be an office based postion.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

· 1 year accounting experience for a construction company or equivalent

· Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

· Familiar with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist Payroll Manager with employee expense reports, vehicle allowance, health insurance database

· Other payroll-related responsibilities as needed.

· Assist the accounting department with various tasks as needed

· Working with Subcontractors to obtain W-9, certificates of insurance and entering accounts payable invoices and related information into accounting software.
