Erickson Living Housekeeping Utility Worker in Matthews, North Carolina

Windsor Run is a beautiful 60-acre continuing care retirement community in the town of Matthews in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. We are currently seeking Housekeeping Utility team members to join our award-winning independent living community. As a Housekeeping Utility team member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our community is always looking its very best. The job involves cleaning building areas, floors, and surfaces, setting up rooms for events, and removing trash. No travel required. How you will make an impact:

  • Maintain cleanliness of the community through the operation of specialized equipment

  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste

  • Utilize work orders to ensure proper room/furniture setups

  • Assist with movement and delivery of heavy objects/packages

  • Remove trash including, refuse and recycling

  • Maintain hard floor surfaces, including scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, and waxing as well as carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming

What we offer:

  • Compensation: Starting at $15.50/hourly, depending upon experience

What you will need:

  • Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment, and any other equipment necessary for the cleanliness of the community

  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member

  • Previous experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques is preferred.
