The Alaka’ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Property Administrator to support our government customer out of Maui, Hawai'i.
The Property Administrator is responsible for control and accountability of the government and Kūpono Government Services LLC Property.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow established procedures and Federal Acquisition Requirements referenced in 252.245-7001-7004 and FAR 52.245-1.
Prepare and maintain records and assign control numbers, tags and mark special tooling and equipment.
Issue instructions and initiate corrective actions to ensure adequate administration, control, and accountability of government property.
Perform annual inventory of all GFP (10% monthly) and maintain property records in the Maximo Database.
Interface with employees and customer to obtain or furnish required information as necessary for all property matters.
Continuous contact with customers, suppliers, and government officials to meet contract requirements.
As related to Kūpono Property, tag assets, maintain detailed records on tagging transactions and assist in physical inventory reconciliation and disposition of assets, as required.
Environmental Factors/Physical Effort:
Environmental Factors: Works in indoor and outdoor environments that contain excessive heat, cold and humidity, dampness, dust, and slippery or uneven surfaces.
Physical Effort: Standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, and stretching for prolonged periods will be necessary.
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
High School diploma and experience in government contracting.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
At least four (4) years related work experience in the property management field.
Experience with MS Office and database applications.
Qualified and willing to obtain professional certifications with related organizations, such as National Property Management Association for Certified Professional Property Administrator or Specialist (CPPS or CPPA) within one year of employment.
Possession of a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Must be available and able to respond to emergency call-ins when required.
Ability to speak read and understand Basic English.
Knowledge of common safety practices and protective equipment (PPE).
Ability to meet deadlines and handle potentially highly-stressful situations.
Ability to enter data into Maximo.
Ability to multitask and continuously reassess priorities to achieve goals and objectives.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Effective organizational skills.
Ability to use common office machinery.
Ability to work well as a team player in a challenging work environment.
Assigned other additional duties as required.
DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
At least six (6) years related work experience in US Government Property control per FAR 252.245-7001-7004.
Professional certifications with related organizations, such as National Property Management Association for Certified Professional Property Administrator/Manager.
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Ability to obtain and retain a Secret security clearance.
