Actalent Director Of Bridge Design in Maumee, Ohio

Job Title: Bridge Design EngineerJob Description

The Bridge Design Engineer will partner with clients to understand project objectives and formulate solutions that result in successful outcomes that are safe, efficient, economical, and environmentally sensitive. This highly skilled team offers a full range of bridge services from scoping, planning, and preliminary engineering through final design for small to large-scale bridges.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts within the Bridge department to build relationships in the ODOT world.

  • Bid and execute project management of bridge work.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand project objectives and deliver successful outcomes.

  • Perform scoping, planning, and preliminary engineering through final design of bridges.

  • Write proposals and manage projects efficiently.

Essential Skills

  • Civil Engineering degree

  • PE license in the state of Ohio

  • Experience with proposals, design, and project management of bridge work, preferably for ODOT

  • Bridge design experience

  • Structural engineering knowledge

  • Proficiency in Microstation

  • Transportation engineering skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer certification

  • Experience in civil engineering

Work Environment

This position is based out of the Toledo office, which is a small office of roughly 15-20 people, primarily engineers and designers. The work environment is open concept with cubicle-style seating, promoting team collaboration and project planning. The company encourages hybrid work, with some travel to local job sites required. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $128000.00 - $160000.00
