Robert Half Medical Customer Service Rep in Maumee, Ohio

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Medical Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Medical Devices industry, based in Maumee, Ohio. The primary role of this position is to provide exceptional customer service, handling various inquiries, and ensuring effective communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide top-notch customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies

• Utilize CRM and IBM AS/400 systems to manage customer interactions and record transaction details

• Leverage Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook, to create reports, manage data, and coordinate communication

• Administer benefits and billing functions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures

• Handle claim administration, coordinating with relevant parties to resolve any issues promptly

• Manage and resolve customer complaints in a detail oriented manner, ensuring customer satisfaction

• Collaborate with the team to achieve company goals and maintain high standards of customer service

• Utilize problem-solving skills to address and resolve customer inquiries and issues effectively

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and services to provide accurate information to customers. Requirements • Proven experience in a medical customer service role within the medical devices industry

• Proficient in CRM and IBM AS/400 systems

• Advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook

• Knowledgeable in benefit functions, billing functions, and claim administration

• Demonstrated experience in complaint handling and providing exceptional customer service

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations calmly

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer and company information

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to continuous learning and growth in the medical devices field.
