POSITION: CORPORATE ACCOUNTANT LOCATION: MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, OH INDUSTRY: SUPPLY CHAIN/TRANSPORTATION Seeking a top notch Corporate Accountant to join a public supply chain company with an office in Mayfield Heights, OH. This role will be responsible for consolidating financial reports for 5 business units, month end close, reconciliations, journal entries, general ledger, AP, AR and financial analysis. We are seeking a detail oriented, candidate who can work and communicate with many different departments. Job Responsibilities: * Manage and update various corporate ledgers using QuickBooks. * Handle weekly accounts payable processing, coordinating with Treasury as needed. * Facilitate and execute monthly intercompany billing between Corporate and business units. * Collaborate with all Corporate departments to collect information necessary for monthly closing and intercompany billing processes. * Analyze monthly Corporate Expense fluctuations, comparing them to the Plan, Forecast, and Previous Year. * Reconcile cash and balance sheet accounts, promptly addressing any discrepancies. * Assist in preparing the Annual Corporate Plan. * Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts. * Support the annual financial statement and SOX audits. * Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status. * Maintain the vendor database in QuickBooks. * Manage amortization schedules, ensuring accurate and timely expense recording. * Distribute Monthly FX Rates to subsidiaries. Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. * 2-5+ years of experience in Accounting. * QuickBooks experience preferred * Great communication skills-enjoys working with many different people everyday Apply now for consideration or to learn more about the role!
