Job Description Rockwell Automation is the largest company in the world dedicated to industrial automation and information. Rockwell Automation's Technical Sales and Consulting Internship Program is a world-class, 12-week internship consisting of a combination of sales, technical, and professional training that take place in both classroom and on-the-job settings. Join a cohort of peers from all over North America and embark on a journey to become a trusted outcome-based seller. Sales interns are placed in one of our 30+ field sales offices across North America. Three potential tracks available: Business Development Representatives will develop and qualify new revenue opportunities. You'll work with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to develop targeted strategies and messaging to guide opportunities for new business and expansion accounts. You will typically work with customers by phone and digital methods, including email and online remote meetings. Account Managers develop and implement sales strategies and plans to meet goals and grow market share. Domain Experts are technical resources for Rockwell Automation technology and products within their area(s) of expertise and explain our portfolio to customers. You will work with customers in a mix of face-to-face and online remote meetings. What you will do: Talk to customers. You are the face of our company to our customers. How you communicate and work with them creates the positive experience. You will understand what drives their business and resolve issues. Make us all smarter. You will gather customer and business insights about your customers' organization and connect that insight to opportunities for comprehensive solutions. Network and build relationships. Your goal is to open doors up and across your customers' organizations, build relationships with individuals from the plant floor to the C-suite. Influence decisions.
