Trinity Health EVS Supervisor, Perioperative ( 2nd Shift ) in Maywood, Illinois

Description:

The EVS Supervisor of Perioperative performs and supervises housekeeping related activities throughout the various areas of the facility. They are available to work second shift hours and weekends & holidays when scheduled. They participate in and administer performance evaluations for all direct report staff and participate in and make recommendations for selection of applicants during the recruitment process. They assist with scheduling of staffing and coaching, and retraining opportunities. They may administer counseling/disciplinary action as warranted.

Shift for this position: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Some weekends and holidays as needed (rotating).

This role will support 2nd shift operations, along with the two current 2nd shift supervisors. In addition to managing the OR team, you will work in partnership with one of the current 3rd shift supervisors.

What's required:

  • High School diploma.

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience, 3-5 years preferred.

  • Exceptional communication skills, written & oral.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage conflict resolution.
