What you’ll do:

  • Under general direction of the department manager, according to departmental and hospital standards, the Respiratory Care Practitioner Coordinator, coordinates and monitors the delivery of Respiratory Care services hospital wide (Adults, Pediatrics, and Neonatal) ensuring quality and appropriateness, by supervising all personnel on the assigned shift as well as providing leadership as a clinical resource for defined services.

What you’ll need for this job:

  • ​RCP License from the State of Illinois through IDFPR

  • Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty Certification

  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS)/Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through the American Heart Association

  • Associate degree (bachelor's degree within 18 months of starting)

  • Bachelor's degree preferred at time of hire/transfer

  • 3-5 years experience with neo/peds population

  • 6-10 years experience with neo/peds population preferred

Pa y Range: $33.50 - $ 45.26 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
