Description:
Shift: 11PM-7AM
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Steam Plant Boilers and Cogen equipment. Repairs and maintains all equipment supporting boiler room systems, condensate systems, feedwater pumps, regulators, drains, prepares internal cleaning of boilers for annual state inspection. Monitor BAS systems operating boiler steam pressure, system graphs. Preform water treatment for steam plant systems. Responsible for all activities in the central plant building on all shifts as assigned. Assists in repairs and cleaning of the boiler room. Conducts regular inspections of boiler operations. Assists building engineers in resolving all heating problems related to facility conditions.
Operates and maintains all steam boilers, air-conditioning sytems and HVAC support equipment. Does so in a professional manner. Is able to trouble shoot same and facilitate repair in order to maintain space conditions in a timely manner
Performs preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment without supervision.
Performs routine maintenance on all HVAC equipment. Performs daily inspections of equipment, logs operating conditions and when operating parameters are not within guidelines, seeks resolution and correction. Documents actions and operating abnormalities.
Maintains comfort levels in facility. Operates equipment within temperature and humidity guidelines set forth by policy.
Operates and maintains medical gas and vac. systems within guidelines
Cleans equipment and work area regularly in order to provide a safe/clean working environment.
Interacts with fellow staff in a professional manner. Can communicate effectively, does communicate effectively, shares information with fellow staff freely. Offers suggestions and takes responsibility for all equipment within the facility.
